Strictly speaking, this isn't "Traditional" music, since Gordie has written all the tunes himself.
However, it is typical prairie fiddle music, and he writes it in the traditional style, so we're

These recordings, which comprise an unusual collection of fiddle music in a style unique
to the Canada Northwest, represent the results of a major project undertaken by Anne
Lederman of York University. The music includes performances by many well-known
Métis fiddlers. Each of the volumes consists of a 90-minute cassette and a booklet containing
comprehensive notes on technique, tone structure, and various dances. If vinyl is
preferred - a two record set is available at the same price.
