GORDIE CARNAHAN "TOE TAPPIN' TUNES
FROM THE PRAIRIES"
Strictly speaking, this isn't "Traditional" music, since
Gordie has written all the tunes himself.
However, it is typical prairie fiddle music, and he writes it
in the traditional style, so we're
willing to ignore the fine points. His melodies are lively, the
harmonies are rich, and the
arrangements are novel.
Contents: The Riverside Reel; The April Morning Waltz; The
Tiger Hills Two Step;
Pearl's Waltz; The Wren In the Birdhouse; The Bluewater Bridge;
The Blue Jay Jig;
Pearl and Gordie's Reel; The Williamson Lake Waltz; The Lambton
County Rag;
